Get to know me

Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m an actor based in New York City, drawn to stories that are raw, emotionally honest, and rooted in character. I didn’t take the traditional path to acting. I served in the Air Force and even managed an AutoZone before everything shifted. When I read The Actor’s Art and Craft at 25, something clicked. I bought a one-way ticket to New York, trained at the William Esper Studio, and haven’t looked back since.

Since graduating, I’ve had the chance to play Helena, Hero, and Maria in back-to-back Shakespeare productions with Boozy Bards here in NYC. I’ve also worked on a handful of indie films that pushed me to dig deeper and trust the moment.

I bring discipline, presence, and a strong sense of truth to everything I do. Whether I’m on stage or in front of the camera, I love disappearing into the world of the character and connecting with whoever’s across from me. I’m also trained in Meisner, stage combat, movement, voice, and the Alexander Technique—and thanks to my past life, I’m certified in medical imaging and military firearm handling. Life has been full of twists, but every step has shaped who I am as an artist and a person.

Thanks for stopping by—I’m excited for what’s ahead.
